How to Zoom-Out to find the most helpful perspectives

In our personal lives and in work, we can become unhelpfully zoomed in within our mind’s eye.

Adopting an unhelpful, narrow perspective or over-fixating on the wrong detail.

Sometimes we focus so hard on a single crack in the glass that we forget to look through the window.

This can undermine our effectiveness, affect our wellbeing, and be detrimental to others.

In this increasingly connected, collaborative, dynamic and rapidly changing world, our ability to see the bigger picture, embrace diverse perspectives, manage our emotions and see clearly is ever more valuable.

Zooming-out helps us find the most helpful perspectives and direct our attention to where it is most constructive.
